Toria’s Residential Leadership & Operator Development Program is a structured mentorship and training model designed to prepare qualified individuals to successfully operate and manage licensed residential care facilities. Through hands-on experience, regulatory training, and leadership development, participants gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to lead, manage, and expand within the residential care industry.
Program Overview
This program is designed for individuals who are serious about building a future in residential care leadership, including those interested in:
- Operating an Assisted Living Facility (ALF)
- Managing a Group Home (APD/IDD)
- Expanding into residential healthcare services
- Becoming a licensed provider or administrator
Participants receive structured mentorship aligned with real-world operational experience within Toria’s Support Care Services.
Required Training Foundation (ALF Core Training)
As part of the pathway into residential care leadership, individuals must first complete the required 26-Hour ALF Core Training in accordance with:
- Florida Statute 429.52
- Florida Administrative Code 59A-36

Important: Training Requirement & Next Steps
Completion of the 26-hour ALF Core Training is only the first step. To effectively operate or manage a residential facility, individuals must also gain hands-on experience and advanced operational training.
Recommended Development Pathway: Two (2) Years of Supervised Training & Mentorship
During this period, participants will:
- Receive structured mentorship aligned with real-world operations
- Work in a leadership role as an Administrator within a licensed Assisted Living Facility
- Gain hands-on experience within a facility owned and operated by Toria’s Support Care Services, Inc.
- Develop skills in compliance, staffing, documentation, and daily operations
- Build confidence in managing and overseeing a licensed residential program
Operator Pathway & Business Opportunity
Upon successful completion of the two (2) year mentorship and administrative experience, qualified participants may be considered for a Lease-to-Operate Opportunity:
- Opportunity to lease the property
- Transition into operating as a private business owner
- Establish and manage their own residential care business
